Smaug but worm by Boralin

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure midrange deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The plan is to flood the board with Treasure tokens, cast Smaug, Wicked Worm to convert opposing artifacts into more Treasures, then spend those Treasures to cast spells and chain card advantage off his trigger. Payoffs include draining with Marionette Master, burning the table via leveled Alchemist's Talent, slamming oversized Torment of Hailfire, and closing through Dragon combat or Knuckles the Echidna's thirty-artifact alternate win. Mycosynth Lattice is a high-ceiling enabler that turns every opposing permanent into an artifact for Smaug's ETB and related payoffs. The deck mixes value engines, selective interaction, and big-mana finishers rather than tight infinite combos, playing as a snowballing resource deck that wants to out-attrition the table and then explode.
