Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By completely omitting low-cost creature cards from the 99, the deck guarantees that any polymorph trigger will hit a massive, high-impact creature or planeswalker bomb (6 to 10 CMC). The game plan relies on deploying cheap token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller during the opening turns, followed by casting Jace on Turn 4 to immediately exile a token with his −3 loyalty ability. The resulting board presence of overwhelming threats—including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, and Archfiend of Despair—quickly snowballs into a lethal clock. Redundant cheat enablers like Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny provide excellent independence from the commander, while top-of-library manipulation spells allow naturally drawn bombs to be placed back into the deck.
