Deck overview

This deck utilizes Jace, Multiverse Architect as a reliable Polymorph engine in the command zone. By avoiding small utility creatures, every creature card in the 99 is an overwhelming threat capable of dominating the game. The deck accelerates through early turns using dense 2-CMC mana rocks while generating inexpensive token fodder through cards like Lingering Souls and Windcrag Siege. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 ability to transform a token into an evasive powerhouse such as Archon of Cruelty, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, or Archfiend of Despair. A robust control suite comprising Blasphemous Act, Swords to Plowshares, and Authority of the Consuls keeps opposing boards manageable. The deck closes games through massive flying damage, recurring combat attrition, or the infinite combat combo of Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host.
