Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender leads an aggressive stompy deck built around the earthbend mechanic, +1/+1 counters, and land-creature combat. Toph turns artifacts into lands and turns lands into recurring attackers with built-in recursion whenever they die or are exiled. The deck accelerates quickly through green ramp creatures and land enchantments, then leverages massive power-scaling threats like Jumbo Cactuar, Mossborn Hydra, and Unnatural Growth. The primary route to victory is overwhelming opponents with giant, evasive, or unblockable land creatures using Rogue's Passage, Bumi, Unleashed extra combat steps, or lethal trample damage from Badgermole and The Legend of Kyoshi.
