MAD SUMMONING, BREH by user5192539

Format: Commander

Commander: Rydia, Summoner of Mist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rydia, Summoner of Mist is not a landfall commander in the usual sense: her landfall trigger is the deck's draw/discard engine, feeding Sagas into the graveyard so her Summon ability can replay them as hasty Saga creatures. The deck pairs extra-land effects (Exploration, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove) with mass land recursion (Splendid Reclamation, Summon: Titan, The Mending of Dominaria) to make one land-returning turn generate many Rydia triggers, filling the hand and graveyard at once. Wins come from discard-ping payoffs (Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Cool but Rude, Sabotender), the big Summon: Bahamut Mega Flare, and Valakut-style landfall burn. There is no hidden commander; the deck is the recursive Saga chassis itself.
