Azula by stiutky132123

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger/storm deck built around Fire Lord Azula's attack trigger. The core loop is simple and explosive: swing with Azula, her Firebending ability adds {R}{R} for the combat, and every spell you cast while she's attacking gets copied. The deck weaponizes this with Great Train Heist - cast during combat, Azula copies it, and the extra combat phases re-fire her attack trigger, generating more mana and more copy triggers in a single turn. The kill is a massive copied Comet Storm, a Fling off a doubled Bulk Up/Unleash Fury Azula, or a Dualcaster Mage copy loop. Backup lines run through Torrential Gearhulk, Snapcaster Mage, and Invoke Calamity recursion, with Veyran, Voice of Duality and Archmage Emeritus converting every cast into extra value. The deck is a fast, interaction-dense combo-control build that wants to win in one overwhelming combat step.
