Deck overview

This Azorius deck utilizes Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward paired with the Candlekeep Sage background to create an explosive blink and value engine. By exiling its own nonland permanents upon entering the battlefield, Abdel generates 1/1 Soldier tokens while Candlekeep Sage converts every enter and leave trigger into raw card advantage. The deck accelerates through 2-CMC mana rocks, establishes early disruption with hate pieces like Drannith Magistrate and Lavinia, and uses instant-speed flicker spells defensively to dodge opposing removal. Once established, the deck transitions into game-ending infinite loops using Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake for infinite mana and blinks. This allows the pilot to draw the entire library, bounce all opposing boards with Venser or Aether Channeler, and finish all three opponents simultaneously through Altar of the Brood mill or Laboratory Maniac. Alternatively, it can establish a total hard lock with Knowledge Pool.
