Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Naya aggro-midrange build led by Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph converts nontoken artifacts into lands and automatically earthbends each end step, turning lands into resilient 0/0 creatures with haste, +1/+1 counters, and built-in return-to-battlefield insurance when destroyed or exiled. The deck accelerates through early ramp like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Badgermole Cub, landing Toph on Turn 3 or 4. It rapidly magnifies board power using counter enhancers like Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal, while protecting assets with Terra Eternal, Marwyn, the Preserver, and Heroic Intervention. On Turns 5 and 6, explosive finishers like Bumi, Unleashed, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, and All Will Be One overwhelm opponents through extra combats, double strike, and direct burn. An alternate lockout finish is available through Karn, the Great Creator and Mycosynth Lattice.
