Deck overview

This Gruul aggro deck converts lands into lethal attackers using the earthbend mechanic. Led by Toph, Greatest Earthbender, the deck focuses on accelerating its mana base in the early turns, casting Toph on Turn 4, and granting land creatures permanent double strike. The deck scales its board presence through counter doublers like Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal, mass draw engines like Terrasymbiosis and Inspiring Call, and overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede and Beastmaster Ascension. Because earthbent lands return to play tapped when killed or exiled, the deck possesses built-in resilience against sweepers, which it pairs with instant-speed protection like Heroic Intervention. It also packs a two-card infinite combat loop between Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Bumi, Unleashed to close out games in a single turn.
