DOOM

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doctor Doom leads a Grixis discard-storm deck: each land discarded burns every opponent, and a dense package of 'whenever you discard' payoffs turns wheels, connive, and loot effects into cards, Treasures, Zombies, and damage. The main plan is to land Doctor Doom early, add one or two discard payoffs, then resolve Windfall or activate Skirge Familiar to chain discards. Secondary paths use Kefka's back face to turn life loss into card draw and Underworld Breach/reanimation to reuse key pieces. The deck does not depend on casting the commander; the payoff engine works through Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, Bone Miser, and Surly Badgersaur even if Doom is stranded.
