Thorin by Doormats

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, built around a dense Dwarf creature base, a heavy Equipment package, and a Treasure subtheme. The commander turns every Dwarf ETB into a Treasure and pumps the team for each artifact token, so the deck accelerates into a wide, hasted, anthem-boosted swarm. Primary wins come from combat: Shared Animosity and a stack of anthem effects (Flowering of the White Tree, An Unexpected Party, The Arkenstone) turn a critical mass of Dwarves into a lethal swing, with Dain of the Ancient Halls and Balin, Loremaster providing burst reach. Equipment like Sword of Hearth and Home and Bilbo's Ring add evasion and value. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through overwhelming board presence and combat inevitability.
