Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos aristocrats and counter-burn strategy commanded by The Great Goblin. The deck leverages unique mechanical overlap between counters (specifically the amass Goblins and blight mechanics) and traditional death-trigger sacrifice engines. Placing counters on Goblins, Orcs, or Armies directs 2 damage per instance directly to opponents' life totals, while dying tribal creatures trigger impulse card advantage that keeps the hand fueled. Midgame lines deploy damage enhancers such as All Will Be One, Mirkwood Bats, and Mayhem Devil to compound every counter placed and creature sacrificed into rapid life total attrition. Efficient removal and asymmetric board damage via Soul Immolation keep opposing boards suppressed while the deck builds toward a Turn 8 finish.
