obeka upkeep by GenghisBong

Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Splitter of Seconds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an "extra upkeep" value deck built around Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. The plan is to land Obeka, make her connect in combat, and convert each hit into multiple additional upkeep steps. Those extra upkeeps fire a dense suite of upkeep payoffs: Phyrexian Arena and Protection Racket generate cards; Palace Siege, Court of Ire, Quakebringer, and Twilight Prophet drain the table; Bitterblossom, Dragonmaster Outcast, and Court of Embereth build a board. Multipliers like Roaming Throne, Strionic Resonator, Shaun, Father of Synths, Paradox Haze, The Ninth Doctor, and Shadow of the Second Sun compound the trigger count. The deck can also pivot into a commander-damage kill with Blackblade Reforged, Fireshrieker, Genji Glove, and Karlach, Fury of Avernus. It is a midrange value/voltron hybrid rather than an infinite-combo deck.
