Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet artifact cheerios storm deck centered on Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early cost reducers and mana rocks on turns 1 to 3, casting Jhoira on turn 3 or 4, and unleashing a storm turn powered by 0-CMC and 1-CMC artifacts. Because every historic spell cantrips with Jhoira, each artifact cast digs deeper into the library. Mass-bounce spells like Retract, Hurkyl's Recall, and Paradoxical Outcome return all cheap artifacts to hand, allowing them to be recast for massive card draw and mana generation via Birgi, God of Storytelling and Glaring Fleshraker. The deck closes the game in a single turn without passing priority, eliminating all three opponents through Aetherflux Reservoir bursts, Reckless Fireweaver triggers, or Brain Freeze storm mill. A dense suite of 11 cheap counterspells and Defense Grid protects the combo window, while Mystic Forge and Sensei's Divining Top provide an independent commander-free win route.
