SUP Fire Lord Azula

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis combat-spellslinger deck centers on Fire Lord Azula, who generates red mana upon attacking and copies any spell cast while she is attacking. The deck leverages this ability by chaining instant-speed burn, pump spells, and flash permanents mid-combat to overwhelm opponents. The primary win condition involves leveraging explosive combat turns with large burn spells like Comet Storm, power doubling from Unleash Fury, or continuous board pressure with flash threats and token generators like Cruel Administrator. Leyline of Anticipation and Borne Upon a Wind allow the deck to turn sorcery-speed threats into copied mid-combat haymakers.
