Commander: Azlask, the Swelling Scourge

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a colorless-token swarm deck that uses Eldrazi Scions and Spawns to farm experience counters for Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. The primary plan is to flood the board with 1/1 Scions from Brood Monitor, Birthing Hulk, From Beyond and similar drones, sacrifice them to gain experience, then activate Azlask's WUBRG ability to give the remaining board +X/+X, indestructible and annihilator 1 for a lethal alpha strike. Secondary paths use Scion of the Ur-Dragon as a toolbox tutor, Scion of Draco and Stormscale Scion as standalone threats, and recursion from Deathless Behemoth and Spawnbed Protector to rebuild after wipes. Azlask is the sole finisher and anthem; without it the deck makes tokens but cannot close. Scion of the Ur-Dragon acts as a hidden commander for tutoring.
