Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul stompy build commanded by Zilortha, Strength Incarnate. The core game plan accelerates mana on early turns using mana dorks and land search to deploy oversized creatures ahead of curve. Zilortha alters lethal damage rules so that your creatures' combat durability is determined by their power rather than their toughness, turning high-power threats into durable attackers and blockers. Supported by natural trample enablers like Aggressive Mammoth and Garruk's Uprising, alongside damage doublers such as Xenagos, God of Revels and Unnatural Growth, the deck applies heavy combat pressure starting on Turn 5. The removal suite features one-sided bite and fight spells that leverage the massive power on your board to clear opposing blockers and planeswalkers efficiently. While the deck boasts high redundancy among ramp and beaters, it lacks instant-speed stack interaction and defensive protection spells, leaving its board vulnerable to sweepers and exile removal.
