Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements is the engine and finisher of a creature-combo build. The deck wants to resolve Animar early, chain one-drop creatures to stockpile +1/+1 counters, then use the discounted Ancestral Statue as a free self-bouncing loop. The primary win is infinite Purphoros, God of the Forge triggers; a secondary loop with Beast Whisperer plus Laboratory Maniac wins by drawing the deck. Tutors and cantrips find the missing pieces, while value creatures and card draw provide a fallback beatdown plan. The commander's role is central: the whole mana-reduction and infinite-cast line depends on Animar staying on the battlefield. No double-faced commander; he is the only engine and the deck is built around him.
