Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros artifact-aristocrats engine commanded by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut. Ragost turns all controlled artifacts into Foods, granting them lifegain utility and converting them into direct burn missiles that deal 3 damage to every opponent for one mana. The list leverages prolific token generation from staples like Academy Manufactor, Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, and Illustrious Wanderglyph to fuel both Ragost and a dense suite of burn pingers including Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist. With lifelink enablers such as Basilisk Collar and Caduceus, Staff of Hermes, Ragost's damage triggers substantial lifegain, allowing it to untap on every end step. Supported by explosive mass reanimation from Wake the Past and alternate win conditions like Hellkite Tyrant, the deck rapidly burns down the entire table while sustaining resources through Trouble in Pairs and The Gaffer.
