Deck overview

This deck is a five-color control and ramp strategy built around the Gates archetype, utilizing Ramos, Dragon Engine as a mana-burst enabler and commander-damage backup. The primary objective is to develop a critical mass of Gates using dense artifact ramp and specialized land searchers such as Circuitous Route and Nine-Fingers Keene. The deck mitigates the tempo loss of tapped Gates using Gond Gate and Archelos, Lagoon Mystic, while defending its life total with pillowfort enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda. Board sweepers like Gates Ablaze and Supreme Verdict keep opposing creature boards clear. The primary win condition is assembling ten differently named Gates and activating Maze's End to win the game in a single turn. Backup win routes include lethal commander damage via Basilisk Gate, direct burn via Crackling Perimeter, and high-end bombs such as Zacama, Primal Calamity.
