Ayara by Grymm33

Format: Commander

Commander: Ayara, First of Locthwain

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats/drain deck helmed by Ayara, First of Locthwain. The primary plan is to generate a steady stream of black creatures - tokens from Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Ophiomancer, Bitterbloom Bearer, Abhorrent Overlord, and Grave Titan - sacrifice them for value, and convert every death and life-gain trigger into opponent life loss via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Ayara herself. The cleanest win is the Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood infinite drain loop, with Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion and big-demon beats as backup. A deep recursion package (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy, Victimize, Whip of Erebos, The Soul Stone) ensures the board rebuilds through wipes. This is a grindy, value-dense engine that wins through attrition and life-total math rather than speed.
