Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dragon tribal powerhouse centered on Tiamat. The game plan focuses on aggressive early ramp across all five colors using cheap dorks, rocks, and land sorceries to resolve Tiamat on Turn 5. Upon entry, Tiamat tutors a tailored five-Dragon package directly to hand, typically featuring Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, Atarka, World Render, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragonlord Dromoka. Over the subsequent turns, the deck deploys these massive threats to double dragon triggers, grant haste or double strike, and overwhelm the table via massive aerial combat and direct-damage triggers. In addition to traditional battlecruiser combat, the list features a compact infinite-combat combo with Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault. It is well-shielded against counterplay via free interaction like Deflecting Swat and uncounterable enablers like Cavern of Souls, but remains inherently vulnerable to sweepers due to its multi-turn combat requirements.
