Kibo by user5930388

Format: Commander

Commander: Kibo, Uktabi Prince

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gruul Ape/Monkey beatdown built around Kibo, using Bananas as the fuel and recycling artifact deaths as the main payoff. Kibo creates an artifact token for every player, and each opponent's artifact that hits the graveyard adds +1/+1 counters to all Apes/Monkeys. The deck then abuses that trigger with Molder Slug, Pain Distributor, Viridian Revel, and Vengeful Tracker. The finish comes from a counter-heavy board, with Overwhelming Stampede or Full Throttle as the explosive close. There is no hidden or double-faced plan: Kibo is the only Commander, and Grunn is a secondary finisher rather than a hidden commander.
