Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, King of Gondor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jeskai Human token deck built around Aragorn, King of Gondor as a monarch engine; it has no hidden commander. The primary plan is to become the monarch early, then attack with an ever-growing army of Human Soldiers, Knights, and Nobles; while monarch, Aragorn makes all attackers unblockable. Backup monarch effects (Archon of Coronation, Faramir, Throne) keep the card flow going. The deck wins through combat: mass token production, anthem effects, keyword soup, and extra combat spells turn a wide board into a one-turn kill. The commander is central, but the deck has enough Human tribal payoffs to function without him, though slower and more blocked.
