Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Mono-Red Voltron and goad engine commanded by Slicer, Hired Muscle. Slicer deploys on Turn 2 or 3 using its More Than Meets the Eye alternate cost of {2}{R}. Once in play, Slicer attacks immediately and then passes to each opponent on their upkeep, untapping and attacking another player under goad. Because Slicer possesses double strike, it deals 6 commander damage per combat, racking up 24 commander damage across a single table rotation. A dense suite of Equipment buffs Slicer's power and grants shroud, hexproof, or evasion, accelerating the clock to eliminate all three opponents by Turn 5. Because you retain control of attached Equipment even while opponents control Slicer, defensive artifacts continue shielding Slicer all game.
