Thranduil; dead elves

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elf tribal and graveyard combo deck. The primary game plan develops explosive mana using tap-for-mana dorks like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid while leveraging legendary Elves and Thranduil to churn through the library. The deck's premier win condition generates infinite mana by pairing a high-producing mana creature with Staff of Domination, allowing you to draw your entire deck and win instantly using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord flings or massive combat buffs from Timberwatch Elf. Secondary plans focus on Elf token swarms with Lathril, Blade of the Elves and copying key graveyard abilities directly onto Thranduil.
