Deck overview

This deck leverages Rendmaw, Creaking Nest to flood the table with goaded 2/2 Bird tokens by playing cards with multiple card types, especially artifact creatures and artifact lands. Because Rendmaw goads all created Bird tokens for the rest of the game, opponents are forced into aggressive combat against one another while you remain protected from aerial attacks. The deck exploits this symmetric token generation asymmetrically, converting the sheer quantity of fragile tokens into decisive wins using mass drain effects like Massacre Wurm, Mirkwood Bats, and The Meathook Massacre, or combat overruns like Coat of Arms and Beastmaster Ascension.
