Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Frodo & Sam is an Abzan Food/lifegain deck that turns a token life-gain engine into drain loops. Sam creates a Food each combat and discounts Food activations, while Frodo converts life gain into Ring tempts and card draw. The primary win is Exquisite Blood paired with Dina, Vito, Sanguine Bond, or Enduring Tenacity; backup infinite-token lines use Scurry Oak + Rosie Cotton or Nuka-Cola Vending Machine + Peregrin Took. Academy Manufactor and Chatterfang amplify token production, and Mirkwood Bats or Marionette Master convert tokens into drain. A midrange beatdown plan with Feasting Hobbit and Banquet Guests remains viable. Merry and Pippin act as a hidden partner pair, adding Food, Soldier tokens, and a haste outlet.
