Deck overview

Erebos, Bleak-Hearted leads a mono-black aristocrats deck that turns creature deaths into cards and life loss. The real engine is Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, who acts as a hidden commander: he sacrifices creatures to draw cards and spread -1/-1 counters. The primary plan is to assemble Yawgmoth with Blowfly Infestation and Nest of Scarabs, creating an infinite death/draw loop that Blood Artist, Ayara, or The Meathook Massacre converts into a table kill. Secondary paths use recursive creatures and token makers to grind value, then finish with Gray Merchant or Kokusho. Proliferate and wither effects keep the board clear while the combo is assembled.
