Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Magda, the Hoardmaster, focusing on committing frequent crimes to generate Treasure tokens and converting them into 4/4 flying haste Scorpion Dragons. The list combines cheap targeted burn spells, pingers, and impulse card advantage to consistently trigger Magda on both your turn and opponents' turns. Once the Treasure engine is running, the deck transitions into lethal damage through damage amplifiers such as Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might. High-velocity threats like Smaug the Magnificent, Goldspan Dragon, and Neheb, the Eternal provide explosive mana and combat bursts, while reach cards like Price of Progress punish greedy mana bases to close out multiplayer tables around Turn 7.
