Shield the Firebird's Flame by user2803511

Format: Commander

Commander: Clive, Ifrit's Dominant // Ifrit, Warden of Inferno

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-red devotion-and-ping deck. Clive, Ifrit's Dominant is primarily a front-face draw engine: his enters-the-battlefield trigger refills the hand from devotion, while the Ifrit back face offers a late-game burst of RRRR and a fight trigger rather than the main plan. The deck floods the battlefield with red permanents (Ragavan, Chandra, Birgi, Signets), turns extra cards into value through Faithless Looting, Cool but Rude, and Brass's Tunnel-Grinder, then layers damage multipliers (Solphim, Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire) with Fanatic of Mogis or Chandra's Ignition to one-shot all opponents. Combat with haste/trample and extra combats is a real backup. There is no hidden commander; Neheb and Birgi are flexible engine pieces.
