Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy engine built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan leverages efficient early mana acceleration and undercosted high-power creatures to reduce Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana as early as Turn 4. Once the 12/12 commander hits the battlefield, the deck converts its massive power into overwhelming card advantage through spells like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and Life's Legacy, drawing ten or more cards in a single burst. This massive influx of resources enables rapid deployment of additional game-ending threats and power doublers, such as Unnatural Growth, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, and God-Eternal Rhonas. Trampling combat damage closes the game across Turns 5 and 6. While vulnerable to early spot removal that disrupts power accumulation and sweepers that reset the board, the deck features redundant stompy threats in the 99 that maintain lethal pressure even when the commander is contested.
