Deck overview

This deck is a Temur creature-storm and stompy engine built around Animar, Soul of Elements. The game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1–2 with dorks like Delighted Halfling and Flamebraider, deploying Animar on Turn 2 or 3. Once on the battlefield, every creature cast places a +1/+1 counter on Animar, reducing the generic mana cost of future creature spells. By Turn 4, the deck connects Animar with card-flow engines like Risen Reef, Garruk's Uprising, or Eshki, Temur's Roar, allowing strings of discounted creatures to refill the hand. On Turn 5, the deck transitions to critical onset by chaining high-impact bombs such as Maelstrom Wanderer, Titan of Industry, and Omnath, Locus of Rage. Built-in protection from white and black shields Animar against common spot removal, while low-cost instant protection like Gaea's Gift and Inspiring Call defends the wider board until an overwhelming combat alpha strike closes the game on Turn 7.
