Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal stompy list commanded by Samut, Hazoret's Champion. The primary game plan revolves around utilizing 2- and 3-mana cost-reduction permanents and ramp artifacts to cast expensive, game-ending Dragons ahead of curve. With Samut providing universal haste from the command zone, threats like Utvara Hellkite, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Terror of Mount Velus attack the turn they are cast, bypassing summoning sickness and immediately putting immense pressure on opponent life totals. Direct damage engines such as Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest convert creature deployments into board control and burn. While the deck boasts high redundancy and explosive mid-game damage, it lacks stack interaction and mass protection spells, making it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and instant-speed removal before it completes its combat clock.
