Deck overview

This deck is an Esper midrange control strategy centered on Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. Its primary goal is to accelerate into Yennett on turn 4, manipulate the top of the library, and attack on turn 5 to cheat massive odd-mana-value spells into play for free. Standout payoffs include Void Winnower to lock out even-cost spells and blocks, Toxrill, the Corrosive to wipe opposing boards with slime counters, and Breach the Multiverse to mill and reanimate an army. Top-deck manipulation tools such as Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter ensure Yennett consistently reveals high-impact odd spells rather than basic lands or even-cost utility cards. While the deck boasts immense value generation and devastating high-end bombs, it relies on combat damage over multiple turns to eliminate three opponents and lacks dedicated stack protection for its commander.
