[V3] Thalia & the Gitrog Monster

Format: Commander

Commander: Thalia and The Gitrog Monster

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thalia and The Gitrog Monster leads an Abzan lands/combo deck that taxes opposing creatures and nonbasic lands while granting an extra land drop each turn. The primary path is to ramp with one-mana dorks, drop the commander early, then win through a compact Protean Hulk pile: Carrion Feeder, Blood Artist, Cauldron Familiar, and Samwise Gamgee create infinite life drain. Natural Order and Beseech the Mirror are the main tutors. Secondary plans include an Aftermath Analyst + Amulet of Vigor + Squandered Resources + Shifting Woodland infinite landfall loop, and a Gitrog Monster + Dakmor Salvage dredge engine with Syr Konrad. The Necrobloom acts as a hidden second Gitrog, while Field of the Dead and Felidar Retreat supply a token beatdown backup.
