Format: Commander

Commander: Dáin of the Ancient Halls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dain of the Ancient Halls leads a Boros Dwarf tribal deck built to flood the battlefield with Dwarf tokens and legendaries, then convert that board into massive commander damage via Dain's attack trigger. The deck uses the Storied mechanic to unlock powerful Dwarf synergies, with artifacts and legends fueling card draw, token generation, and cost reduction. Secondary paths include equipping a single Dwarf with Swords/Orcrist to draw cards and create treasures, and using Dain's haste to attack immediately. Blink effects multiply enters triggers and protect the board. The hidden commander is Fili the Pathfinder, who accelerates the Dwarf-count plan by producing a token per nontoken Dwarf entering.
