Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a -1/-1 counter value engine deck helmed by Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. The primary game plan is to deploy Hapatra early, use a dense suite of cards that put -1/-1 counters on creatures to trigger her ability, and generate a growing army of deathtouch Snake tokens. The deck scales through proliferate effects, drain triggers, and combat damage via Fynn, the Fangbearer poison or the deathtouch snakes themselves. It has multiple infinite combo lines-Devoted Druid + Ivy Lane Denizen + Scurry Oak, Blowfly Infestation loops, and Persistent Constrictor persist loops-that either produce infinite creatures, infinite mana via Warren Soultrader, or infinite drain with Blood Artist / Zulaport Cutthroat. Recursion from Grave Venerations and Necroskitter provides grind and board recovery.
