Deck overview

This is a mono-black artifact reanimation deck built around Anrakyr the Traveller. The plan is to self-mill expensive artifact creatures and vehicles, then have Anrakyr attack to cast them from the graveyard by paying life instead of mana. Whip of Erebos, Technomancer, and The War in Heaven provide repeatable reanimation, while Imotekh and Ultron create tokens from graveyard triggers. The finish is usually a wide artifact-creature combat, often with Cybermen Squadron's myriad chain, or a drain via Necron Overlord. The deck has no true infinite combo; it wins on incremental board and value. Its hidden sub-commanders are Szarekh, the Silent King and Imotekh the Stormlord.
