Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Dog kindred strategy led by Sophia, Dogged Detective. It curves low-cost Dog creatures into Sophia, immediately generating a 2/2 Dog Detective token named Tiny with trample. When Dogs connect in combat, Sophia creates Food and Clue tokens, providing both card velocity and fuel. By spending one mana to sacrifice any artifact token, Sophia distributes +1/+1 counters across your entire pack. The deck scales this engine using counter multipliers like Hardened Scales, Innkeeper's Talent, and Brokers Ascendancy, turning early utility creatures into massive trampling threats. Defensive pieces like Selfless Savior, Pack Leader, and Teferi's Protection shield the board against sweepers, while efficient removal spells clear opposing blockers or stop dangerous opposing plays. The game plan culminates in an overwhelming combat assault across Turns 6 through 8.
