Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Blink Control list led by Abuelo, Ancestral Echo. The game plan revolves around generating compounding card advantage and board presence by repeatedly exiling and returning creatures with powerful enter-the-battlefield abilities. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and small utility creatures like Wall of Omens and Spirited Companion. In the midgame, repeatable flicker engines such as Abuelo, Soulherder, and Teleportation Circle create substantial card flow and token armies. The deck disrupts opponents through efficient countermagic, targeted exile effects, and asymmetrical stax pieces like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Teferi, Time Raveler. Games conclude on Turn 6 or 7 either by overwhelming opponents with a lethal flying assault powered by Moonshaker Cavalry or by executing an infinite flicker loop with Peregrine Drake, Archaeomancer, and Ghostly Flicker to steal all opposing permanents.
