Jorn, God of Winter: Snow ProsBloom by RottingHellkite

Format: Commander

Commander: Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a snow-matters midrange deck that wins through incremental advantage, not combos. The primary plan ramps with snow lands and mana doublers, then closes with snow-scaled threats and a 20/20 Marit Lage. Jorn, God of Winter attacks to untap all snow permanents for mana and to break parity under Winter Orb, while Kaldring, the Rimestaff recurs snow permanents from the graveyard. The deck is built to use Jorn face-up as the engine; Kaldring is late-game value. Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait acts as a hidden commander, providing the extra lands and card draw that keep the snow count and hand full.
