Format: Commander

Commander: Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire leads a Jund value deck built around its attack trigger: each player, including you, sacrifices one permanent, then reveals a card and puts it onto the battlefield if it is a permanent. The primary plan is to ramp into Vaevictis by turn 4, give it haste, and attack every turn, using topdeck manipulation to turn the symmetrical trigger into a one-sided cheat engine. Secondary paths are big-creature beatdown, sacrifice payoff damage, and theft via It That Betrays or Grave Betrayal. There is no hidden commander and no double-faced commander; the deck is fully built around Vaevictis. It wins through accumulated board presence and commander damage rather than a compact combo.
