Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggro strategy led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The primary game plan focuses on curving out low-cost Dwarf creatures on the early turns, then casting Thorin on Turn 5 to trigger continuous Treasure generation. As Dwarves enter the battlefield, Thorin creates Treasure tokens that pump the entire Dwarf army's power. By Turn 6, the deck swings for substantial damage, leveraging mass goad and unblockable effects like Taunt from the Rampart or double strike from Dáin Ironfoot to crack open defensive boards. The deck supports its aggressive combat strategy with a strong suite of protective instants and equipment, including Mithril Coat, Galadriel's Dismissal, and Unbreakable Formation, preventing board wipes from undoing its progress. If Thorin is answered, independent anthems like Shared Animosity and Door of Destinies provide reliable alternative routes to victory.
