Deck overview

This is a tightly-constructed Mono-Black Aristocrats deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The primary game plan is to generate a continuous stream of creature tokens, sacrifice them for value (card draw, mana, drain), and grind out opponents via death-trigger payoffs. Sephiroth himself provides a scalable draw engine and a global drain effect; his transform condition (four death triggers from his ability) is easily met in this shell and the resulting emblem turns every creature death into life loss for the table. The deck also packs several compact infinite combos - most notably Pitiless Plunderer + Phyrexian Altar + Gravecrawler + any drain outlet - that can close the game rapidly. Recursion and graveyard hate are woven in, giving the deck strong inevitability and recovery.
