Dragons - WUBRG by JLCitadel

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon commands a five-color tribal deck designed to deploy massive, evasive Dragon threats ahead of curve. The commander passive Eminence ability reduces the casting cost of all Dragon spells by one mana from the start of the game without ever leaving the command zone. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration through cost reducers and color fixing. Mid-game turns assemble high-impact engines such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Dragon Tempest. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents through explosive Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas burn triggers, an infinite recursion loop with Bladewing the Risen and Miirym, or lethal aerial combat empowered by Atarka, World Render.
