Marneus B4 by bromahh

Format: Commander

Commander: Marneus Calgar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Marneus Calgar is the deck's draw engine and primary combo pivot: every token event draws a card, and Training Grounds plus Ashnod's Altar convert his Chapter Master activation into a repeatable draw-and-mana loop. Token doublers such as Anointed Procession, Mondrak, and Elspeth plus drain outlets like Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, and The Meathook Massacre turn that loop into a win. The deck also has a solid token beatdown path with Myrel, Adeline, and Akroma's Will. There is no hidden or double-faced commander; the list is built to keep Marneus on the battlefield and to find the narrow Ashnod's Altar/Training Grounds pair through tutors and heavy draw.
