Deck overview

This Golgari reanimator deck is helmed by Meren of Clan Nel Toth, a relentless recursion engine that turns every creature death into an experience counter and a recurring threat from the graveyard. The primary game plan is to fill the graveyard early, deploy Meren, and then grind out value through sacrifice outlets, drain effects, and combo finishes. The deck wins through infinite combos (Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion/Walking Ballista, Protean Hulk lines, Pitiless Plunderer loops) or through massive drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. It also has a strong combat backup with Avenger of Zendikar and Lord of the Void. The deck is highly synergistic, resilient, and capable of recovering from wipes, but it is heavily graveyard-dependent and lacks stack interaction.
