This Orzhov deck turns life into a weapon. Helmed by Liesa, Shroud of Dusk, it blends spell-taxation, lifegain, and table-wide drain into a midrange control-combo shell. The primary path to victory is an infinite life-drain loop built from interchangeable halves: a "gain life opponents lose life" piece like Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Starscape Cleric, paired with a "opponent loses life you gain life" piece like Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. While assembling that loop, Liesa, Mai, Scornful Striker, Painful Quandary, and Rule of Law tax opponent plays, and a deep wipe suite - Toxic Deluge, Fumigate, Blasphemous Edict - resets the board. Exsanguinate, Torment of Hailfire, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel provide non-combo finishes.
