Deck overview

This deck is a Jund mid-power strategy commanded by Winter, Misanthropic Guide. It pairs forced symmetrical card draw and delirium-based hand size restriction with an aristocrat and token-swarming engine. In the early game, the deck establishes mana development and casts Winter to accelerate card velocity for the table while filling graveyards with diverse card types. Once delirium is active, opponents must discard down to small hands at the end of their turns, triggering payoffs like Waste Not and Entropic Battlecruiser. In the mid-to-late game, the deck converts this card advantage into wide boards of Elves, Squirrels, and Pests through engines like Lys Alana Huntmaster, Deep Forest Hermit, and Beledros Witherbloom. Opponents are ground down through repeated life drain from Ayara, First of Locthwain, Poison-Tip Archer, and Rottenmouth Viper, culminating in a Turn 8 finish through combined combat damage and aristocrat triggers.
